Formed in 2013, P.D.C.S. offers architectural and M/E design, consultancy, project management and product specification to both the commercial swimming pool industry and private clients.   Tim Gurnett has 30 years of experience in the design and construction of luxury swimming pools. In 1994 he created what was to become the largest pool construction company in Portugal, Pebbblepools®. During the following years he introduced Pebbletec® to the European market and formed a separate business, appointing, managing and supplying the network of Pebbletec® licencees outside the U.S.A. and Australia.

In late 2016 he sold his ownership in Pebblepools to concentrate on the management and growth of EuroPebbletec® and his freelance consultancy business.

P.D.C.S. is a UK company operating on a worldwide basis. Our operational activities are run from Portugal through our sister company TGCB Construction Ltd. based in lagos, portugal. since 2013 PDCS has carried out project management and operational roles in Portugal, France, Corsica, Spain, Slovenia, France, Dubai and Saudi Arabia. 

Tim graduated in 1984 with an honours degree in mechanical engineering from Brunel University. He was sponsored through his degree by an aeronautical company and stayed with them for 3 years after graduating.   Following that he took three years out working in the travel and tourism sector managing adventure holiday resorts and ski hotels.  His travels took him to Portugal in 1988 where he met his future wife and settled to raise a family and develop the new business he had formed there.  Pebblepools® combined his engineering background with the management skills acquired during his sabbatical years. Having won the exclusive representation of Pebbletec® natural rock interiors, these became a signature part of the pool style which was developed. Pebbletec® interiors are the worldwide market leaders in natural stone pool finishes, the use of Pebbletec® allows unique design details including freeform shapes, natural features and unique durability and longevity.
